Which One?

How to choose a prosthesis

Silicone Forms are the longer lasting and heavier option of the two. There are many weights, shapes, and sizes of silicone prosthesis. Overall, it will give you the most natural feel and should help keep the bra anchored in place.

Silicone Prostheses

Lightweight forms come in several variations of foam, beads, and fiberfill. They are the lightest and coolest options for prostheses as they are often designed to let water and air pass through them and dry quickly after touching water or perspiration. The trade off is that they are often too light to keep a bra anchored in place and do not hold up as long as the silicone prostheses.

Lightweight Prostheses

Custom made silicone prostheses are the ideal option for those who have had a lumpectomy, unilateral or bilateral mastectomy. It is the lightest weight prosthesis available and offers unique customization. You choose the skin tone, whether or not the prosthesis should have a nipple, if s, the nipple and areola size and color. The form is made to fit perfectly against the chest wall to be worn in any bra.
